3mg Beta Launches Mobile Elevator Manager

BOSTON, MA (June 30, 2001). 3mg Inc. launched its latest wireless product, the "Mobile Elevator Manager" application this weekend with its first client, Advanced Elevator Technologies.

The application allows companies in the construction services industry to access critical data from multiple devices including wireless devices.

Field employees can view past work performed, check the status of repair calls, and look up information on elevators, buildings and equipment - all done remotely via a wireless enabled phone or PDA.

Office employees can use the application as well to track repair calls, work performed, and schedule deliveries with their field personnel.

It greatly reduces workload, optimizes many aspects of the job, and provides information at the finger tips of remote employees.

Advanced Elevator Technologies (AET), an independent elevator service firm in Boston, was selected as the beta testing client. Everyone there is excited about the opportunities.
